Discovery Psychiatry is created to provide patient centered, holistic, and exceptional mental health care to adults and children in Texas. The practice provides outpatient services for people with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism, PTSD, panic attacks, sleep disorders, bipolar, mood disorders, grief, and many other mental health challenges.
Discovery Psychiatry team leader Chikodi Jane Ogwuegbu, APRN, PMHNP-BC, BSN is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. She has over a decade of experience working in the mental health care field. As someone who cared for a loved one with mental health conditions, caring for her patients is not just a job for her, it is a passion she dearly loves. She earned her Masters in Nursing (MSN) in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) program at the reputable and top ranked Eastern Kentucky University PMHNP program.
The team at Discovery Psychiatry is experienced in caring for mental health patients in various settings such as hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. The team incorporates evidence-based guidelines with clinical experience, patient preferences and faith to provide exceptional care.
